This year it’s exciting Kansas City, Missouri for the VJ-VAP-61/62 Reunion. It will be held at the Hilton Kansas City Airport, 8801 NW 112th St, Kansas City, MO 64153 from 10/25 to 10/29. Room rates will be $109 per night for single or double occupancy, Triple $119, Quad $129. Plus hotel tax currently at 16.225% and $1.50 Kansas City Development fee subject to change. Two Free Breakfasts’ per room at the Asado Urban Grill for each night stayed. Attendees are responsible for making their own room reservations. In order to assure you’re receiving a room at the above rates, reservations must be made no later than Sept 25 by calling Toll Free 1-800-445-8667. If you are planning on staying up to 2 days prior or 2 days later, or if you have special needs call 1-816-801-5285. For all reservations,tell them you are reserving under the VAPPER REUNION rates which are as stated above. A credit card number or one nights advance deposit is required to secure a room. If you have not made reservations by Sept 25 you might not be guaranteed our Group rate. Cancellations must be made through the Groups Reservation Department 24 hrs. prior to arrival or you will be charged a 1 night stay. A $75 early departure fee will be accessed if you check out earlier than reservations were made for. However if it is due to an emergency or health issues this fee will be waived. Please make your reservations by phone and not the internet (3rd party vendors will not be accepted for VAPPER discounts and amenities that is specialized for our group) and our group will not be accredited for your headcount. Remember we count on your booked rooms at the Hilton which allows us to have a Hospitality room, Banquet room, and Meet & Greets without additional charges. Amenities include: Breakfast for 2 per room per night, WI-FI, Self-Parking, & Hotel Shuttle pickup to & from MCI Airport. Call Hilton 1-816- 891- 8900 for pickup. Shuttle runs from 4:00 am to 1:00 a.m. The shuttle is complimentary and runs to and from the famous Zona Rosa Shopping Mall. See hotel clerk for times. Registration will start Wed 25 Oct. at 1:00 P.M. in the VAPPER’S Hospitality Suite “Wyandot”. The room will be open throughout the duration of our stay to mingle & enjoy each-others company. The Reception will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the “Osage AB” where we will share in a “Buffet” of Assorted Chilled Sandwich/Wraps, Red Bliss Potato Salad, Homemade Potato Chips/Dips, Chef’s Choice of Dessert, Ice Tea, & Starbucks Decaf/Coffee Station. Alcoholic Beverages can be purchased at the Hilton Bar. YOU CANNOT CARRY DRINKS in from the Hospitality Room. Cost = $26 per person tax & gratuity included.
Thursday & Friday presents 2 full days of fun filled Tours in the Downtown Kansas City MO Metro area. Some of the most famous spots, Plaza, Crown Center, Union Station, WWI Museum, Viet Nam Wall, Several Parks, and West Port.

1:00pm – 2:45pm: Crown Center – Lunch on your own – Self Tour or Shop at Crown Center, you must be back to bus & boarded no later than 2:55 pm. Bus will leave by 3:00 pm for Hilton Airport Hotel.
Special note: The KC Tour is taking in a lot of the Downtown area and I think you will be more than satisfied with this trip. Same goes for the WWI Museum, it is an amazing historical Museum the only one in the United States, and I cannot begin to say enough about the fabulous Nelson Art Gallery. 25 people must sign up on each tour in order for them to meet agreement.
Saturday Banquet Dinner
We encourage each of you to join us for the Saturday 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Banquet Dinner. There will be a memorial ceremony for those that have passed on, followed by a sit down dinner. The Banquet will be held in the Shawnee A room. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased in the Hilton Hotel Bar. Beverages from the Hospitality room are not allowed in the Banquet Room. The event will wrap up with announcements, and more sea stories (if you have any to tell) feel free to share. Remember this is your opportunity to meet new people and get to share/and hear what your fellow VAPPERS have done or been known to do. We will then head back to the Hospitality room for the final events.
